This policy is a template written for a small, newly established UK company that currently collects contact-form data only. Review it with a qualified adviser before relying on it, and update it as the business and its data processing change.

1. Who we are

AHKURDI CENTER LTD ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16717798, with our registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

We are a newly established company preparing to launch an online retail business. At present, this website does not sell any products; it collects personal data only through the contact form and the "launching soon" email sign-up.

2. What data we collect

When you use this website, we may collect:

  • Contact form data: your name, email address, subject and the content of your message, if you choose to contact us.
  • Launch notification data: your email address, if you ask to be told when we launch.
  • Technical data: basic, non-identifying information automatically generated by your browser when visiting a static page (such as request logs kept by our hosting provider). We do not currently use analytics or tracking cookies — see our Cookie Policy for details.

3. Why we use your data, and our legal basis

We use the data above to respond to enquiries you send us and to send the single launch notification you asked for. Our legal basis for processing this data is your consent, given by submitting the relevant form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. How your data is processed

Our contact and sign-up forms are processed using Formspree, a third-party form processing service. Submitting a form sends your data to Formspree's servers so that it can be forwarded to us; this may involve a transfer of data outside the UK. Where that happens, it is covered by Formspree's own safeguards and applicable data transfer mechanisms. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and sign-up data only for as long as needed to respond to you, to keep a reasonable record of correspondence, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever is shortest. We do not keep contact data indefinitely.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • be informed about how we use your data;
  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased, in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to how we use your data;
  • request your data in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

7. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes to this policy

As the business develops — for example, once we launch and begin processing orders — this policy will need to be updated to reflect any new data we collect. We will revise this page accordingly and update the date at the top.
